WHO WE ARE

Here at Sol Foundation for Schizophrenia Inc. (SFFSI), we are driven by a single goal; to do our part in making the world a better place for all. We are dedicated to the research of treatment for Schizophrenia and related bodymind dis-orders. Our decision making process is informed by comprehensive empirical studies and high quality data evaluation. We strive to build productive relationships and make a positive impact with all of our pursuits.

WHAT WE DO

The goal at SFFSI is to establish habits of good health through education, exercise, proper nutrition, adequate rest, and stress management. Our approach emphasizes the cultivation of life-long health. Our program includes a comprehensive six month Guided Imagery program, individualized care, client advocacy, crisis intervention, wellness services, intensive diagnostic work, long-term follow up, a full day treatment program with an active prevocational and vocational component, outreach to develop linkages with the general social service system, and counseling to aid clients in developing the skills to move toward a more peaceful existence.

SOL DEVELOPMENT PROJECT

All properties will be owned and managed exclusively by SFFSI . Our facilities will be environmentally friendly and built of recycled materials whenever possible. Please contact us for more detailed information.

SOL HOUSE

Sedona, AZ

Set amongst the calming red rocks of Sedona, the Sol House will be a combined center for women, providing medium to long term deluxe accommodations and offering an array of holistic services. The house will be staffed 24 hours a day with compassionate certified caregivers. Our focus will be to provide a sanctuary incorporating love, mindfulness, exercise, nutrition, and integrative therapy, helping women recognize their full potential.

SOLMOH

Los Angeles, CA

This magnificent structure will be the hub of our research and therapeutic services and will be open during normal business hours 6 days per week. We will offer a wide range of therapies for clients in need. The majority of clinical research (already underway and ongoing) will be formalized and disseminated to other (eventual) Sol facilities from SOLMOH.
